So now I'm level 41. The big milestone of level 40 has come and gone. And I still don't have my mount. Money just isn't flowing in as quickly as I'd like.

But I'm not going to ask you, my readers (I know that there are a scant few of you) for gold. That's what friends and guildmates are for.

So, in addition to the "Hit List," I will also provide updates on amount of gold, at least until I get my horse.

POLL QUESTION:
Keeping in mind that the only difference between mounts is cosmetic, should I get:
a) Chestnut Mare
Brown Horse
c) Pinto

And the update to the Hit List:
* Allistar
* Ankthetank
* Arachula
* Darkshadz
* Dogwolf
* Frostburn
* Icyeexx
* Rabo
* Scylus
* Synergy
* Xayth

Two interesting stories about recent ganks:
* The battle between Xanth and I was not quite a gank. I had managed to get him down to the point where the battle could have gone either way. I meant to turn the tides in my favor by casting Power Word: Shield (spell that absorbs damage) on myself. But Xayth was a warrior. Warriors in WoW are not like other classes; rather than using mana to cast their spells, they have Rage, which stays at zero while not active and increases whenever you deal or take damage. Warriors also have an ability, Execute, which drains all remaining rage and translates it into extra damage, as long as your target has 20% life or less. One 500-damage slice was more than enough to take out my shield (which, being at level 6, absorbed about 400 of it) and kill me.
The reason I say the battle could have gone either way was because I had a spell that could have saved me. Desperate Prayer instantly heals the caster. Amount is dependent on the level of the spell. I can only use one every 30 minutes. If I hadn't used mine earlier during a quest, I would have foiled Xayth's Execute and delivered a Smite to his skull to end the battle in my favor.

So it wasn't quite a gank, unless you consider the fact that he had superior armor and weapons, which just about everyone, except Mages and Warlocks, does.

* The other gank didn't make it on the list because I managed to get my revenge. Fonnypwn ganked me somewhere in Stranglethorn Vale (?), and not long ago, I found him in Stromgarde fortress in the Hillsbrad Foothills. Fortunately, I had a party with me this time. They roughed up Fonnypwn pretty good, but I dealt the killing blow.

so, a further update to the list:

* Fonnypwn -- AVENGED!

It's a start.

I did not keep my former pledge to stay on Kimo's Island until level 40. I found a much better place to level: The Scarlet Monastery. As the primary healer for the party, all I had to do was stay behind and heal the others while I get my cut of the XP. A couple runs through there and I not only got the experience to get to level 40, but also a Hand of Righteousness mace and High Inquisitor Whitemane's chapeau, which gives major stat bonuses right where I need them. Oh yeah, and plenty of money and silk cloth.

In closing, I lied. I am asking you for money. If you're an alliance player on Skullcrusher, help a poor priest out. I need 72 gold; I have 9 gold. No one should be without a mount. Maybe someday I'll be able to pay you back. But by then you probably won't need it. Oh well. Just give me money.
